Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro's Next Sale will be on February 28


On Thursday 22nd February, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro went out of stock within a few minutes in their first flash sale on Flipkart and Mi.com.

Next Sale of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro will be held on Wednesday at 12PM IST on February 28, six days after the first sale.

Company has not yet revealed how many units were sold or exactly how much time it took for the sale to get over.

Yepzon launches tracker devices for the safety of Women and Children


Yepzon Oy which is a safety technology company launches the country's most effective and trust-worthy tracker device 'Yepzon' especially for women and children.

IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said Digital India can only be possible if Digital UP happens


On Thursday, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said Digital India cannot be achieved without a Digital UP.

IT Minister said India is getting digitalised rapidly. Out of 130 crore people in India, 121 crore people carries mobile while 40 to 45 crore people have smartphone.

He also said, Noida and Greater Noida have great potential and they can become next Singapore as Government is ready to help in setting up BPOs in cities like Gorakhpur.


DoT wants network providers to use 13-digit numbers for Machine to Machine(M2M) communications


TRAI has asked BSNL and other network providers to start issuing 13-digit numbers to SIM-based Machine to Machine (M2M) devices.

The move is aimed to make Machine to Machine communication more secure. Also, the new rule will not impact the mobile numbers of current or future users.

The Department of Telecom announced that this new switch to 13-digit numbers will begin from 1st July, 2018.
