Google Collaborating with Department Of Defence (DOD) US for "Pilot Project"

The tech giant, Google is collaborating with Department of Defence (DOD), US for "Pilot Project".
In "Pilot Project", Google will develop the machine vision tools for Department of Defence. In this, Google will offer its resources to the US Department of Defence for analyzing drone videos using the artificial intelligence.


This collaboration is a part of Project Maven. Project Maven is a Pentagon research initiative taken by the US Department of Defence to develop computer vision which can easily understand the drone video footage. Such technology could be useful in military which includes tracking a particular target object using the drone as this technology is capable of recognizing the basic objects like car and people from the drone video footage.
Tech giant, Google is providing the access to its TensorFlow software to US Department of Defense to build object recognition algorithms.
TensorFlow is a open-source software which is used in developing Google's Artificial Intelligence. It is generally used by the machine learning engineers of Google to sort the data and train their algorithms on the basis of sorted data.
