Now you can send money through WhatsApp by scanning QR Code


WhatsApp will enable its users to send money by scanning a QR code.

This feature added 'Send to UPI ID' feature to the WhatsApp.

To access the feature, Users will have to go to Settings, and then click on Payments followed by New Payments and finally scan QR code.

The QR code scanning option will come with update for WhatsApp 2.18.93 version.


Airtel launched VoLTE Beta Programme which offers free 30GB 4G Data


Bharti Airtel is launching new VoLTE Beta programme in selected regions.

Under the programme, the company will offer 30GB 4G Data for free to selected users and seek feedback to upgrade its services and network quality.

The VoLTE technology offers special features such as HD voice calling, instant call connect and multitasking.

The services will be available in Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar and Punjab.


Alibaba opens the new car vending machine in China which gives free test drives to people who have good social credit


Last year, Alibaba and Ford signed a deal to form a partnership to work together on new technological opportunities.

Both the companies have opened a cat-themed car vending machine in Guangzhou, China that lets customers easily test-drive Ford vehicles they are looking to buy.

The test drives are free as long as customers have a very respectable social credit score of 700 or above.

Users select the car model they are interested in, put down a deposit electronically, schedule a pickup time and snap a selfie so the vending machine can recognize them when they pick up the car for a test drive.


Microsoft open the Garage in Hyderabad


Today, Microsoft announced the opening of 'Garage' in Hyderabad.

According to the company, Garage is a platform for Microsoft employees that supports and encourages a culture of experimentation, working together across organisations and technology to explore ideas and build prototypes which allows to add values to existing products.

The Garage India is in 8,000 sq. ft and has been built to support teams from across the company for their various projects.
