Jio effect: Vodafone updated its Rs 198 prepaid plan to offer 1.4GB daily 4G data with unlimited calling

        Taking on Jio and Airtel in the competitive Indian telecom scene, Vodafone has updated its Rs. 198 prepaid plan to now offer 1.4GB data per day. This Vodafone pack also comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, and 100 SMSes per day. The validity of the updated pack remains unchanged at 28 days. It takes on Airtel's Rs. 199 pack and Jio's Rs. 149 pack, which offer 1.4GB data per day and 1.5GB data per day for 28 days, respectively.



Facebook to change your News Feed again

        Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told The Selma Times-Journal on Monday that it plans to prioritise posts from local news sources in the news feeds of people who live in the communities served by those outlets.

        "If a story is from a publisher in your area, and you either follow the publisher's Page or your friend shares a story from that outlet, it might show up higher in News Feed,"


Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s rumour to become the first smartphone to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor

        Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is the rumoured smartphone that is said to be the successor to last year's Mi Mix 2. The device has been making rounds in rumours and leaks but nothing much is known about its specifications.

        According to the tipster's post on the microblogging platform, Mi Mix 2s will be featuring Qualcomm's flagship processor for 2018, the Snapdragon 845. The processor has not yet debuted in any of the smartphones and is being said to come with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 at MWC 2018 conference on February 25.


Nokia 3310 4G with ‘YunOS’ launched in China

        HMD Global last year made a mark in the smartphone industry by launch as many as six smartphones but its feature phone, the new Nokia 3310 caught the attention of many. Some fans requested the handset to come with 4G support but the handset maker did not reveal anything concrete about it. Now, we see the Nokia 3310 4G quietly being listed on the company's China website.

        The feature phone supports 4G TD-LTE (TDD B38 / 41, 39, 40) connectivity in addition to 2G and 3G, which was the only network supported by the last year's 3310. The device is said to be made available from offline retailers in China by early February. There is no word if it will arrive in India or any other countries.
