Paytm unveils the new 'Paytm for Business' App


Mobile wallet company Paytm has come out with a new 'Paytm for Business' which aimed at serving merchants who can track payments, and can make settlements instantly.

'Paytm for Business' is an app for all merchants to start accepting payments digitally and instantly view their transactions without the need to wait for a confirmation SMS or e-mail.

The new mobile application allows to make payments to Paytm's three lakh strong merchant base in Tamil Nadu.


Reliance Jio is offering 10GB Add-On 4G Data to selected customers


Reliance Jio is giving out 10GB of free 4G data to selected customers.

The data is being offered as a free add-on pack as a token of appreciation from the Reliance Jio for using its JioTV app.

The extra 10GB 4G data is being offered by Jio automatically. Some customers will receive it, while others might not.

The offer will expire on 27th March, 2018.


Xiaomi is planning to enter US Smartphone Market at the end of this year


Xiaomi is planning to enter soon in the US Smartphone market by the end of this year.

After tasting success in emerging markets like India and Southeast Asia, Xiaomi is all set to enter the US market as early as this year.

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC), Xiaomi shared the top slot with Samsung in India, with a market share of 23.5 per cent in the third quarter of 2017. In the fourth quarter, Xiaomi was a clear leader with 26.8 per cent market share, with Samsung stood second at 24.2 per cent market share. For the entire year, however, Samsung, with 24.7 per cent share, was the leader and Xiaomi with 20.9 per cent stood second.


Coursera teams up with 5 universities to expand its full master and bachelors degree programs


The online education-focused technology company 'Coursera' is adding six new full degrees including its first bachelors’ degree in partnership with five top universities.

The participating universities and their respective degrees are Arizona State University offering a Master of Computer Science, Imperial College London offering a Global Master of Public Health, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign offering a Master of Computer Science, University of Michigan offering both a Master of Applied Data Science and a Master of Public Health and University of London offering a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Prices will vary depending on the course, but will range from $15,000 to $22,000, along with the option of stopping at any point and collecting certificates for completed sections if you chose to stop or pause the full degree.

Currently, 'Coursera' is associated with 31 million students and some 2,700 courses.
