On Monday, Huawei brand Honor announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone, Honor 7A in China.
The Honor 7A with dual-SIM (Nano) runs EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. The device is powered by 3000mAh non-removable battery.
Honor 7A price has been set at CNY 799 which is roughly Rs.8,300 for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage variant and CNY 999 which is roughly Rs.10,300 for the 3GB RAM/32GB variant in China.
On Monday, Samsung Venture Investment Corp which is an affiliate of Samsung Electronics which specialises in fostering startups said that it has invested $4.6 million in an Israel-based firm Audioburst.
Established in 2015, Audioburst specialises in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and operates a platform that provides customized audio content to users by analysing their listening patterns, interests and preferences..
The ‘Airtel Big Byte Offer’ was introduced in May last year with a validity period till March 2018. The offer is now extended till October 2018.
Under this offer, Airtel will offer the additional data to customers who have opted for a monthly rental plan starting at Rs.699 and going up to Rs.1,799 in Mumbai.

Airtel is offering up to 1000GB of extra data for broadband users.
Google announced that it is shutting down its URL shortening service, goo.gl.
The company says that new users would not be able to create links through the goo.gl console from 13th April.
The existing users will be able to use it for another year after which it will be discontinued completely.
The company introduced the URL shortener in 2009 and since then the ways in which people share information on the web has changed.
