Intel announces First Core i9 Laptop CPU, New mainstream Desktop Chipsets, 8th Gen vPro Platform and many more


Intel has rolled out a new ultra high end Core i9 processor for laptops as well as mainstream Core i7 and Core i5 models. The new processors feature up to six cores.

Intel is aiming these processors at high-end laptops which is designed for gaming and content creation as well as VR and mixed reality applications.

At an event in Beijieng, Intel unveiled its new flagship Core i9-8950HK laptop processor, which is claimed to offer the best single-core performance for better frame rates when gaming and also the best multi-core performance for heavy applications.

Google Drive will let you know who can access to your files


Google is introducing a new feature called Access Checker which lets you easily share a Drive file with someone whether it is two colleagues or a team of 30.

The feature alerts you when you send an email, calendar invite, or another type of note that includes a Drive file and will ask you if you want to change permission settings if the recipient does not yet have access.

When you are emailing the file to various recipients, Access Checker will also show you the names or email addresses that do not currently have access to the file.


Dell XPS 15 is coming with the Intel's new chip and a 1050 Ti GPU


Dell XPS 15 is coming with the new six core H-series CPU.

The entry-level model starts at price of $999 with integrated graphics and the Core i5-8300H CPU but you can scale all the way up to a Core i9 processor, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD.

With new Dell XPS 15, you will get a 56WHr battery in the low-end but a 97WHr battery comes standard on the higher-end models.


Data of 150 million users get compromised after MyFitnessPal Breach


Late last night, users of health app MyFitnessPal received a notification from the company that their account information may have been compromised.

The company acknowledged the breach and said that it has started notifying customers through an email as well as in-app notification.

The company has started taking steps to protect the community which includes notifying MyFitnessPal users to provide information on how they can protect their data and urging users to change their passwords immediately.

The company is also planning to continue to monitor suspicious activities and make enhancements to the systems to detect and prevent unauthorised access to user information.
