In order to expand its market, Amazon India has launched a new smartphone in January under the brand name Tenor. However, this is not the e-commerce giant’s first foray into an in-house smartphone. Tenor - the Seattle-based company had quietly launched two models of smartphones – Tenor E and G – a couple of months before its homegrown rival Flipkart had come out with its own in-house smartphone under the private brand named Billion.
The company (tenor) calls it as 'Crafted for Amazon.' Experts say private label market in India for smartphones is fairly nascent. 10.or comes from ‘tenor' and is mobile brand launched by Chinese company Huaqin Technology, which was founded in 2005. 10.or entered India in September 2017, with the launch of the 10.or E smartphone on Amazon India.
Tenor (10.or) manufactured Huaqin Telecom Technology Co., LTD is a global TOP 10 smartphone original design manufacturer whose business covers smartphones, tablets, notebooks, wearable devices, and servers. Recently 10.or (pronounced Tenor) smartphone company has made a debut in India with 10.or E smartphone is sold exclusively to Amazon India.
"The in-house smartphones would be targeting the local, low-brand and mid-brand strength of smartphones which make up almost 20% of the market, thereby making it a $2-billion opportunity for these private labels,". Apart from smartphones, Amazon India already consists of private labels Solimo, Symbol and Myx for categories including staples, fashion, and electronic accessories. It also sells its global brand Amazon Basics in the country.
The 10.or is said to be a Brand by the Amazon itself just for the Indian market and the products will just be available on Amazon.in.

There are very less news and leaks about the Tenor Smartphone but according to the Video on Amazon, it is confirmed that the Device will include Headphone Jack and a Single-Camera at the back with a Unibody Design and curved edges. And end the End 10.or Born can be seen with the video.
It was also expected that this device will have a Customizable UI just like Xiaomi, through which you can change the settings and interface according to your preference.
