Vivo X20 Plus UD with under-screen fingerprint scanner coming soon

The Vivo X20 Plus UD looks like the regular X20 Plus - 6.43"AMOLED display with 18:9 ratio screen.  The single difference is that the rectangular fingerprint scanner on the back is gone since the sensor now will be under the screen and this makes the phone unique.

The company has shown the phone at CES 2018. The UD scanner works a bit slower, but it works as accurate as a regular sensor. According to Synaptics, company that developed the tech, the actual scanner sends beams of light through the OLED, reads the fingerprint and verifies the user.

iPhone 'chaiOS' bug can freeze your phone with a single link

A bug has recently been discovered in iOS that crashes the Messages app and can freeze or restart your phone when you’re sent a specially-engineered website link.
The bug was discovered by software developer Abraham Masri, who gave it the catchy — if slightly alarmist — the name of “chaiOS.” It exploits the fact that Messages preloads any links to web pages so it can show users a preview of the page. Masri tested chaiOS successfully on the iPhone X and iPhone 5S and says it only affects versions of iOS from 10.0 to 11.2.5 beta 5. The bug can also crash Messages on macOS. The Facebook Messenger bug causes iOS app to freeze up after typing a few words.
Apple said that it’ll fix the bug in a software update next week.

The all new tiny robot moves so fast it's just a blur on camera

Researchers at Harvard have created a new robot that’s the smallest, fastest, and most precise of its kind. It’s called the milliDelta, and can move so quickly — up to 75 motions a second — that on camera it’s just a blur. The bot could be put to a range of uses, say its creators, from working in assembly lines for making tiny circuit boards to assisting in delicate microsurgeries.
The milliDelta is an extreme example of what’s usually called a “delta robot.” The first ever delta robot was actually built to work in a chocolate factory and placed pralines into their packaging.
