Last month, Xiaomi rolled out Oreo update for its Android One series Mi A1 handsets. Many devices has received the new software update but it neither seems good for users nor the company.

Xiaomi has temporarily halted the rolling out of Android 8.0 Oreo update for its Mi A1 users due to series of issues. If you still haven't upgrade your Mi A1 to Android Oreo, you're in good luck.

Mi India confirmed that Xiaomi is expected to begin rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to its Mi A1 users in next couple of weeks. The company would want to fix the series of problems that made Mi A1 users upset and then resume the software rollout bug-free.

If you have upgraded your Mi A1 to Android 8.0 Oreo, you would know your troubles. Popular problems users are facing includes unresponsive camera and dialer app, Bluetooth sucking out the phone's battery, unexpected app crashes, proximity sensor failure and more.

Xiaomi identified one of the problems, where the dialer app would hang before making a call and thus came out with a quick fix. According to the company, the issue is only happening on phones running the MyJio app. Disabling the Phone permission for the app fixes the issue with the dialer app.
