Uber is expecting flying taxis to be common within next 10 years


On Tuesday, CEO of Uber technologies Dara Khosrowshahi said he can see the future of Uber Air flying taxi service which is going to happen within next 5 to 10 years.

He also said that Uber technologies expect flying vehicles to eventually become an affordable method of mass transportation.


SBI Card warns their customers against Investment in Bitcoin


Today, SBI Card warned his customers about risks associated with bitcoin and other crypto-currencies but did not ban the use of its credit card for such investments.

In a message to customers on bitcoins and other crypto-currencies, SBI Card said the Reserve Bank has issued advisories to financial institutions and the public that it has not given any license/authorization to any entity to operate or make any investments in crypto-currency schemes or any virtual currencies such as Bitcoins.


Delhi-Based Research company Velmenni currently working on Li-Fi technology, high-speed internet through LED lights


According to TRAI, the average data usage per user has jumped nearly across 23 times to 1.6 gigabytes per month in last three years.

Despite the rising in data usage, the mobile broadband penetration remains low at just 29.45% of the total mobile connections.

Delhi-based Research company Velmenni which was started by Deepak Solanki in 2012, is trying to solve the issue by providing high-speed internet through LED lights to everyone in a secured environment.

Li-Fi is high-speed and wireless communication using visible light instead of radio frequencies which is almost 10 times faster than Conventional Wi-Fi.


Vodafone offering Unlimited Voice Calls, 1GB Data Per Day to Prepaid Users at Rs.158 for 28 Days


Vodafone launched two new prepaid packs that offer unlimited voice calls and high speed data access with a validity of 28 days.

The new Rs.158 pack offers unlimited voice calls with 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week and 1GB of 4G/3G data daily with a validity of 28 days.

The new Rs.151 pack offers unlimited voice calls and a total 1GB of 4G/3G data with a validity of 28 days.
