Airtel revises myPlan Infinity postpaid plan, offers double data in Rs.399, Rs.499, Rs.799 and Rs.1199 packs


One of country's leading telecom operator Airtel has now revamped its postpaid plans. After revising its prepaid plans, the telecom company is now offering much more data under the myPlan Infinity postpaid plans.


Airtel has revised its Rs.399, Rs.499, Rs.799, Rs.1,199 postpaid plans for its postpaid subscribers. Earlier the service provider was offering 10GB of data but now it has doubled the data to 20GB. In addition to it, the company will also provide unlimited local and STD calling and free roaming calls.

Microsoft will delete Softwares that torment Users to pay for Upgrades


From the next month, Microsoft will be on watch for software that uses alarming or misleading notifications to scare users to pay for added security protection. Microsoft will then delete those softwares using Windows Defender Antivirus and other Microsoft security programs.


Microsoft has found an increase in the number of free cleaner or optimizer softwares using coercive language to force users to pay for premium versions of their software. Under Microsoft's new security criteria, such products or softwares will now be classified as malware or unwanted software.


May be the exclusive modem supplier for next-gen Apple iPhone X will be Intel


Intel, the leading chipmaker company who's been Apple's one of the key partners for Mac models, may soon become the sole supplier for the next-gen Apple iPhoneX smartphone's modem chip. This will leave Qualcomm with absolutely no contribution in iPhones manufacture.


KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi-Kuo on Monday said, "We expect Intel to be the exclusive supplier of baseband chip for 2H18 new iPhone models, while Qualcomm may not have a share of the orders at all"


After custom duty hike in Budget 2018, Apple increases its iPhone prices


Apple has increased iPhone prices for Indian markets. After the announcement of Budget 2018, prices were revised after customs duty on mobile phones and was hiked.


In the Budget speech of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, he said the customs duty on phones has been raised from 15% to 20%, and on certain mobile phone components to upto 15%, to boost Make in India in mobile manufacturing and increase domestic value addition in the sector.
