Nvidia's Upbeat in high demand by Data Centres and Cryptocurrency mining


Current-quarter revenue forecast of Nvidia's Upbeat on Thursday have acknowledged the surging demand for its graphics chips used in data centres, gaming devices and cryptocurrency mining.


The Nvidia company, which also reported better quarterly results, is fetching the benefits from the launch of its Volta chip architecture last year.


Volta processors supports range of technologies such as artificial intelligence and driverless cars.


Google Paids Nearly $3 Million to Security Researchers of Company in 2017


Tech giant company Google paid out almost $3 million which is equivalent to Rs.19 crores to security researchers in 2017 in the form of rewards.


Each was paid around $1.1 million which is roughly equivalent to Rs.7 crores for bug reports specific to Google and Android products.



You may have to wait for 5G till year 2020 in India


The telecom sector companies wants the government to put off auction of 5G spectrum till 2019-20 to give time for a devices ecosystem to develop and allow the industry to overcome its financial stress completely.


Rajan Mathews,the director general at Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) said "The government must not rush into any spectrum auction this year as the industry is facing acute financial duress, thus auction of any spectrum band, including 5G, must be initiated when all consolidation has been announced and locked down".



Beta version of WhatsApp featuring WhatsApp Payments, also to roll out Group Video calling, new stickers soon


Supporting the chats, free phone calls, free video calls, and media sharing, WhatsApp soon going to allow you to send and receive money on WhatsApp Wallet which is rolled out in the beta version of WhatsApp.


The WhatsApp Payment feature allows you to make payments through a UPI-linked bank account both online and offline.
