Google Maps adds 6 more Indic languages in Voice Navigation and support for plus codes in India


Google Maps has added support for plus codes, which are a combination of area and local codes which helps in determining the addresses of people.

Six more Indic languages - Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam is added in voice navigation.

Also, users would be able to switch between voice navigation languages right from the Google Maps app.


Vodafone partners with TECNO to offer Rs.2200 cashback on purchasing its range of smartphones

Verizon expands Secure Cloud Interconnect footprint in India


On Tuesday, in a statement Verizon said it has expanded its Secure Cloud Interconnect footprint in India to include two of country’s biggest cloud providers, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Microsoft Azure.

This would make the 9 Secure Cloud Interconnect partners available to India-based multinationals including Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, HP, IBM Cloud and Salesforce.

Verizon’s Secure Cloud Interconnect is a Software Defined Network-enabled (SDN) service built on Verizon's private IP network which offers any-to-any connectivity of IP.


YouTube is adding a dark theme in iOS and Android


YouTube is adding a new dark theme to its mobile apps, starting with iOS.

The dark theme inverts some colors on the YouTube UI, swapping out the white background of the standard theme for a more cinematic, blacked-out style.

An Android version of the update is coming soon.
