Apple is developing its own MicroLED screens


Apple Incorporation is developing its own MicroLED device displays and has made small numbers of screens for testing.

Apple is developing next-generation MicroLED screens at a secret plant in California under the secret project code named T159 which is overseen by Lynn Youngs.

Lynn Youngs is also in charge of iPhone and Apple Watch screen technology.

MicroLED screens are flat panel displays that makes your device thinner, brighter and uses less power as compared to current OLED displays.


The US Navy's newest submarine comes with an Xbox controller


On Saturday, the US Navy’s latest Virginia-class attack submarine, went into service from the Naval Submarine Base New London which comes with an XBox controller.

In September, Navy said the new submarines would come equipped with a pair of photonics masts.

The masts feature high-resolution cameras that can rotate 360 degrees and feeds their imagery to monitors in the ship’s control room.

Previously, the masts were controlled with a 'helicopter-style stick' but were swapped out with an Xbox 360 controller as 'helicopter-style stick' was heavy.


Google will now let users to buy items through Google Assistant and Search


Recently, Google has launched a new program called Shopping Actions that will allow users to purchase items through Google search and Google Assistant.

Using the Google Express Shopping service on Google Search and Google Assistant, shoppers can now save their payment credentials and make purchases from retailers with instant checkout.

In exchange, retailers will give Google a cut of the profit from each purchase. Retailers will only pay Google when sales are made.


Vodafone launched the new Rs.21 plan to counter Jio's Rs.19 plan


On Friday, Vodafone India announced a new plan of Rs.21 for its prepaid customers.

The new plan comes with a validity period of 1 day but the customers may not be able to use the benefits it offers for 24 hours.

Vodafone is offering the unlimited 3G or 4G data benefits only for 1 hour instead of 1 day which Jio is offering with Rs.19 plan.
