Tata Power announced the launch of IoT based asset tracking solution


On Friday, Tata Power announced launch of its IoT based, asset-tracking, automation solution developed by Tata Communications in Mumbai.

Tata Power worked on a IoT solution to create process efficiency in monitoring and extracting important information from the data collected from an internal Geographical Information System (GIS).

This solution will allow various features like asset trace log on a periodic basis and Geo Fence breach alerts.


Japan will soon open doors for 2 lakh Indian IT Professionals


Japan will open up its doors for about two lakh IT professionals from India, and will issue green cards to settle down in Japan and to support the country's rapidly expanding IT infrastructure

Many Japanese companies feel the limitations to conventional 'in-house innovation' and hence moving towards 'most-advanced IT Technology Capabilities' for which India is the most ideal partner to look for.

The Japanese government will be issuing Green Cards for highly skilled professionals by providing people to get permanent resident status in as short as one year.


Motorola will set up 1,000 Moto Hubs across 100 cities in India


On Thursday, Motorola said it will set up 1,000 'Moto Hubs' across 100 cities, which will be the 'first milestone' of strengthening offline presence.

The hubs could push revenue from offline channels to 50 percent of total sales over a period of time.

All the hubs will contain handsets, along with Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones, Moto shells and covers.


Xiaomi confirms Mi Mix 2s will support wireless charging


Xiaomi launched a teaser which confirms the presence of wireless charging technology support on the Mi MIX 2s.

Mi MIX 2s will be the company's first handset which will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

Xiaomi will launch the Mi MIX 2s on 27th March.
